Balaju Yantra Shala (BYS) has a long-standing history in the fabrication and construction of steel and suspension bridge components in Nepal. Since its establishment in 1960, BYS has produced suspension bridge parts and other steel structures as part of its engineering and metal fabrication activities.
BYS played an important role in the development of locally manufactured steel components for Nepal’s trail bridges. Earlier, many steel bridge components had to be imported, but BYS developed the capability to manufacture these components locally, supporting the growth of Nepal’s bridge fabrication industry
